Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Business Development Manager to drive the adoption and growth of our Applied AI Solutions for Advertising & Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to accelerate the adoption of key services including AWS Clean Rooms, AWS Entity Resolution, Amazon Connect Customer Profiles, and Amazon Personalize. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify new business opportunities, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional value to our customers in the advertising and marketing space.
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Key job responsibilities
You will develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive adoption and growth of AWS Applied AI Solutions, primarily aligned to advertising and marketing use cases. This role requires you to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry leaders to identify new business opportunities and drive innovation. You will collaborate with product teams to shape the roadmap and feature development for AWS Clean Rooms, AWS Entity Resolution, Amazon Connect Customer Profiles, and Amazon Personalize based on customer needs and market trends.
You will create and deliver compelling presentations, whitepapers, and other materials to articulate the value proposition of AWS Applied AI Solutions to C-level executives and technical decision-makers. You will work closely with AWS account teams to develop and execute account plans, identify selling opportunities, close strategic deals, and achieve revenue targets.
You will represent AWS at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements as a thought leader in applied AI for advertising and marketing. Mentoring and developing team members, while fostering a culture of innovation and customer obsession, will be an important aspect of your leadership role.
Finally, you will collaborate with AWS marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and content that showcase the value of AWS Applied AI Solutions, ensuring that our messaging resonates with our target audience in the advertising and marketing sector.
