Main Purpose of Role
This position is a key value-added role within EP Operations Finance, partnering with various levels of leadership to drive financial ownership, cost efficiency, and process improvement. You will be responsible for complex, timely, and accurate financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the business.
What You’ll Work On
- Consolidate financials from various global manufacturing sites and provide effective communication to leadership on business performance to identify opportunities and drive improvement. The scope of financials includes Month-End Close, Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Plan, and Standard Costs.
- Provide strategic support to Supply Chain partners. Lead inventory consolidation and forecasting efforts for all planning and reporting cycles. Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers to support business decisions. Conduct regular financial reviews with business partners to communicate financial performance. Provide valuable insights to influence the business in achieving financial goals.
- Develop, automate, and monitor key financial metrics.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses to support complex decision-making within global manufacturing operations and present recommendations to management. Serve as the financial lead in cross-functional team environments.
- Identify areas for improvement and constructively propose new solutions to drive efficiencies. Develop and utilize sound financial processes to drive improved business performance.
- Support internal and external control and compliance requests
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, or a related field
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills, as well as attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Ability to work effectively and with flexibility under uncertainty and changing priorities
- Strong results orientation and self-motivation, with a proactive approach to understanding and meeting business needs
- MBA, CPA, or CMA
