Position Summary The Manager Supply Chain Strategy and Optimization is a high impact role responsible for leading multi-million-dollar strategic initiatives that shape the future of our distribution and transportation network. This role will lead diverse, cross-functional teams to deliver network strategy, optimization, and infrastructure launch initiatives. This unique high-visibility role supports the organization from business case creation to hand-over of an operational building. To deliver these projects this role will need to collaborate with finance, HR, legal, real estate, construction, operations excellence, automation, and operations teams to ensure the solution supports business growth and capacity requirements. This leader will be considered the subject matter expert for structuring key deliverables and driving accountability to ensure the organization delivers initiatives on time and within budget.
Primary Duties & What You'll Be Trusted to Deliver - Responsible for leading multi-million-dollar optimization initiatives and strategic outcomes that significantly affect business performance
- Lead the development and execution of network strategy and optimization initiatives to support long-term business growth and operational efficiency.
- Partner with finance and executive leadership to create optimization business cases that balance cost, service, inventory, and capacity needs
- Lead cross-functional and geographically widespread teams to implement distribution and transportation network infrastructure roadmap from concept and business case to operational handover, enabling brand growth
- Conduct scenario modeling, cost benefit analysis, and risk assessments to support strategic decision making
- Create and employ standardized structure and processes to track key deliverables and timelines to ensure accountability and on-time delivery of strategic initiatives
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success of strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement
- Support governance of overall program including steering committee facilitation and standardized reporting against metrics
- Creation of compelling data-driven presentation materials to support executive leadership decisions
- Identification of risks and mitigations to overall program health
- Act as single point of contact for updates and issue resolution for assigned programs and initiatives
- Ensure operational stakeholder sign-off, smooth line organization transition, and post launch follow-up
- Communicate and complete required record keeping functions. Articulate and align associates with department and business goals. Oversight of the creation of standardized procedures
- Lead, coach and develop a team of direct reports
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and create individual development plans
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Ensure team alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities
Minimum Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Research, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management or network optimization preferred
- 7+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Cross-functional project leadership experience leading large-scale, strategic initiatives
- Experience with supply chain modeling tools and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experienced in delivering impactful, data-driven presentations to stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications & Experience - PMP certified
- Six Sigma Certification
Knowledge - Strong proficiency in building complex project plans and documentation in tools such Microsoft Project, Clarity, Smartsheets, Asana, Confluence, and/or JIRA.
- Advanced knowledge of operational transactional systems and how they interface with operations.
- Strong financial planning and budgeting knowledge including operational P&L literacy.
- Knowledge of regulatory, legal and compliance considerations in supply chain infrastructure projects
- Expert knowledge of crafting strategic storylines and executive level presentations
Skills and Abilities - Skilled at leading infrastructure, network design, or optimization initiatives from initiation to delivery for operational line organization
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives
- Ability to interpret facility layouts and coordinate with technical industrial engineering and construction teams to deliver an optimized operational layout
- Skilled in collaborating with both internal and external real estate and construction vendors to support solution evaluation and business case creation
- Adept at fostering strong relationships within an organization to enhance the successful execution of strategic infrastructure initiatives.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building abilities, with strong interpersonal skills and expertise in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to communicate project scopes, outcomes, and details to all levels of the organization.
- Skilled at planning, organizing, and directing teams to deliver projects on-time while supporting operational requirements.
- Highly proficient in and proven ability to read, negotiate, and interpret contract language as well as hold vendors accountable for specific deliverables within their scope.
- Ability to keep up with industry trends through seminars, conferences, webinars, and other knowledge transfer events.
- Ability leading post-launch follow-ups and continuous improvement lessons learned implementation to support efficient program delivery.

- Work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.
- Flexible with schedule and hours to oversee and respond to the needs of a 24/7 operation.
- Travel (30% - 50%) or more based on geographical workload
