We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Data Specialist 3 with 4-6 years of environmental chemistry/data management experience to join our Data Management & Visualization (DM&V) team. The Data Specialist 3 will work closely with our DM&V team, engineers, and scientists on challenging and exciting environmental investigation, remediation, development, and solid waste projects. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project collaborators, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions – What You Will Do
- Manage field and laboratory analytical data in accordance with project specific work plans, quality assurance project plans (QAPPs), sampling and analysis plans (SAPs), and regulatory permits and standards.
- Coordinate with and provide task management oversight to DM&V team members, project staff, and analytical laboratories.
- Review field data and laboratory reports for quality, compliance with project objectives, and consistency with historical data (e.g., anomalies/data outliers, laboratory QA/QC nonconformances, etc.).
- Work with data management/analytical software to manage data in the project database (EQuIS™), and retrieve, analyze, and present environmental data.
- Prepare QAPPs, SAPs, data quality assessments, and data management portions of reports and work plans.
- Support fast-paced site development projects, environmental investigations, remediation projects, and solid waste projects.
- Assist in the development of automated workflows for the management and presentation of field and laboratory data.

Competencies – What We Are Looking For
- 4 to 6 years of experience in environmental data management with a minimum of a BS in environmental chemistry, environmental science, geology, engineering, or another closely related STEM field. A problem-solving mindset is a must.
- Experience with data management software (e.g., EQuIS™, USEPA Scribe) is essential, and knowledge of advanced statistical methods is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required, and practical experience with programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations is required.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
Physical Requirements
- Work is mainly performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Sedentary work requiring long periods of sitting.
- Substantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers is required.
- Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as viewing a computer screen and extensive reading.
- Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages, and other items, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type – What You Should Know
- Full-time position.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours.
- Located in Bedford, NH; Boston, MA; or Philadelphia, PA. This position also includes the potential to work remotely within traveling distance from an office.
