As a Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of Product Managers responsible for establishing a Cloud Networking product portfolio that drives revenue and enables customers to adopt Akamai's compute platform
As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for:
- Defining a product strategy, roadmap and executing a product plan that delivers market leading capabilities for developers
- Gathering and prioritizing customer feedback, turning ideas into product features enhancements and advocating for the customer.
- Acting as a thought leader and evangelist for Akamai's products within our developer communities.
- Growing, mentoring, and leading a team of highly skilled product managers
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent
- Have extensive experience with product management, go to market strategy and product development.
- Demonstrate hands on experience with compute, cloud technologies and cloud networking
- Possess experience launching/managing cloud products.
- Be passionate about making world class products that customers love.
- Be self-motivated, have effective communication skills and be able to influence and motivate others
