Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead strategic programs while managing enterprise-wide material planning operations. This role will drive cross-functional initiatives while ensuring optimal material flow and inventory management across the organization.
Candidate superpowers should include ownership, stakeholder management, creating clarity out of ambiguity, and enabling productive collaboration.
Key job responsibilities
- Have strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion
- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management
- Forecast material requirements and own schedule management for assigned categories
- Be proficient at managing change implementation for multiple programs
- Coordinate with global commodity managers and internal teams to ensure material availability
- Manage crisis situations related to material shortages or excess inventory
- Develop and track program KPIs, metrics, and deliverables
- Lead supply chain digitalization and automation initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
- Be flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and enjoy working with ambiguity
