The Opportunity
The position of Senior Global Trainer is in our Core Lab division. It's a field-based remote role willing to travel 40-50% globally.
The Senior Global Trainer will lead the delivery of high-impact training programs focused primarily on the AlinIQ AMS (Analyzer management system) middleware solution, with an expansion vision across the broader AlinIQ product portfolio.
Reporting to the Delivery Global Training Manager, this global role supports customer training enactments and internal enablement, ensuring consistent and effective knowledge transfer across regions. The position requires a strong technical background in middleware implementation within laboratory environments, combined with excellent communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills to support both customer-facing and internal training needs.
What You’ll Work On
- Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for customers and internal teams, with a primary focus on AlinIQ AMS middleware.
- Conduct on-site and remote training sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical content and customer feedback for continuous improvement of training materials.
- To enhance the overall customer experience with AlinIQ products, support, shadow, and mentor Informatics Technical Specialists (ITSs) during customer training delivery.
- Maintain and update training documentation to reflect product updates and evolving customer needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for peers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment of training strategies and execution.
- Provide input on product enhancements based on customer interactions and training feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree and 7 years of experience or equivalent experience in the field of global education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical, or Hospital Informatics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with customers in laboratory environments, specifically on middleware configuration and implementation.
- Proven experience in delivering technical training and supporting software applications in diagnostic settings.
- Fluent in English (additional languages could be a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, managing multiple priorities in a global, remote setting.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 40-50% annually.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of laboratory workflows and middleware systems (AlinIQ AMS product will be a plus).
- Technical proficiency with business tools (e.g., MS Office, SmartSheet, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer-facing capabilities.
- Ability to innovate and contribute to training strategy development.
- Experience in global/area roles or multicultural environments is a plus.
