In response to this community-wide challenge, Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS), provides 14 programs and services in 28 locations in Texas, Missouri and Louisiana. Status: Non-exempt
Working Conditions: Works in office or remotely. Uses office equipment including computers. May be required to sit for extended periods of time. Travel to various agency locations a must: usually less than five days per month, but at times could be more based on agency need. Travel costs are either reimbursed or an agency vehicle is utilized.
Position Summary: Develops curriculum in a variety of formats to meet the needs of PCHAS employee and ensure they are equipped to meet the PCHAS Mission and implement Model of Care. Trains PCHAS employees both in-person and virtually.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop new and update existing training modules in a variety of formats to meet the training needs of PCHAS employees using industry-recognized models and practices, such as ADDIE and SAM.
- Create E-Learning curriculum for employees using Adobe Captivate.
- Work with the PCHAS University Team and other key PCHAS employees to identify learning needs and opportunities within the organization, including licensing training requirements.
- Communicate with internal training sponsors and subject matter experts to ensure that training meets the needs of PCHAS staff or clients.
- Train PCHAS staff in both virtual and in-person settings, facilitating group discussion, hands-on activities, and roleplays as necessary.
- Schedule and document training on PCHASU, the agency’s learning management system.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training modules and adherence to PCHAS’s model of care, using the Kirkpatrick 4 Levels of Evaluation.
- Assist the PCHAS University Team the development and maintenance of the PCHASU Learning Management System.
