Collaborate with development, operations, and business stakeholders to maintain quality standards and minimize deployment risks.
Key job responsibilities
Execute test cases using TOSCA for automated testing across MES applications
Perform load/stress testing using NeoLoad for performance validation
Design and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing
Create and update test documentation and validation protocols
Develop test scenarios in TOSCA aligned with business requirements
Configure NeoLoad for performance benchmarking and stress testing
Maintain test data and environment configurations
Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
Document test results and maintain traceability matrices
Track and report defects through resolution
Support UAT activities with business users
Cross-functional Support
Collaborate with development teams on testing integration
Work with operations for deployment validation

A day in the life
A typical day for an MES Test Engineer involves a blend of hands-on testing and collaborative activities. The day often begins by reviewing automated test results from overnight TOSCA runs and addressing any critical failures. Throughout the day, they execute test cases for new MES functionality, run performance tests using NeoLoad, and analyze the results. They work closely with developers to investigate and document defects, while maintaining test scripts and environments. Time is split between executing manual tests, enhancing automated test suites, and supporting UAT sessions with business users. The role requires adaptability as priorities can shift based on production needs and deployment schedules.
