Key job responsibilities
Planning:
- Create production strategies for new product introductions through end-of-life cycles.
- Be the document writer for all programs assigned to the planner.
- Own world-wide supply at the sales channel level.
- Responsible for meeting Key performance indicators (KPI’s) of the following metrics world-wide: weeks of cover, in stock availability, transportation mix, excess inventory, etc..
- Develop and maintain production schedules using capacity plans, material constraints, and demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze demand changes to align supply with requirements
- Lead cross-functional solutions to eliminate supply gaps.
- Manage inbound supply and execute the placement of weekly purchase orders to meet Global Allocation requirements.
- Generate and distribute supply planning reports to leadership.
- Monitor and reduce supply chain costs and implement optimization initiatives.
Vendor/Operations Management:
- Manage relationships with global partners to mitigate production shortages/overages, manage material liability, and optimize capacity utilization.
- Drive manufacturing investment decisions through short and long-term planning.
AI, Automation, and System Enhancements:
- Lead process improvement projects for planning operations.
- Implement AI-powered tools to improve core responsibilities, become faster, drive better decision making, etc..
- Developing automated solutions for routine planning tasks and reporting.
- Enable data-driven recommendations for inventory and production optimization

The role focuses on production planning, continuous improvement, AI enhancement, cross functional relationship management, cost reduction, strategic decision making, and purchase order management for Ring devices and accessories.
