Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Key job responsibilities
Analyze large data sets to identify patterns and drive strategic shifts in product offering and service plan pricing, impacting business decisions and customer experience.
Develop pre-launch and post-launch science forecasts for subscriber adds, churn, product and service plan mix, and seasonality.
Drive actions at scale to optimize forecast methodology and drive improvements to forecast reliability.
Create recurring competitive insights and pricing trend analysis.
Write queries to extract data and insights combining datasets within Kuiper with publicly available datasets.
Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and recurrent analysis to inform and influence data-driven decisions for business operations.
Deliver comprehensive, written strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with senior management audiences (e.g. narratives, inputs into weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews).
Drive best practices in operational excellence, data modeling, and analysis. Ensure that BI solutions are correctly and efficiently supporting the business.
Participate in hiring activities and mentor junior team members.
