We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative entry-level Environmental Engineer specializing in environmental site assessment, contaminated site remediation, and regulatory compliance to join our Bedford, NH office. The candidate will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting consulting projects throughout New England and beyond. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions – What You Will Do
- Perform field investigations for environmental and hydrogeologic projects, including comprehensive soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling.
- Perform field oversight for environmental remediation construction projects.
- Analyze and interpret complex field and laboratory data using advanced analytical methods.
- Assist project teams in developing recommendations for environmental strategies, remedial alternatives, and remediation designs.
- Prepare technical reports, regulatory compliance documentation, permit applications, construction specifications, and cost estimates.
- Formulate preliminary conclusions, recommendations, and strategies to address environmental site issues.

Competencies – What We Are Looking For
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience in environmental site assessment and remediation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering.
- Demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement or professional experience in relevant areas such as environmental/civil engineering, contaminated site investigations, and/or remediation.
- Mechanical aptitude and being comfortable with conducting field work are preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
- Strong client service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset and proven teamwork capabilities.
- Willingness to occasionally travel out of state for extended field events.
- Additional consideration given to candidates with an EIT/FE certification.

Physical Requirements
- Requires sitting, walking and, at times, bending and prolonged standing.
- Must be able to visit project sites and climb ladders and stairs as required.
- The work requires both indoor and outdoor activity in temperatures ranging from moderate to extreme cold or hot and other weather conditions.
- Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment as required.
- Substantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers is required.
- Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer monitor, and extensive reading.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Position Type – What You Should Know
- Full-time role with flexible daily hours (M-F).
- Based in Bedford, NH.
- Travel throughout New England and out of the region required.
- Approximately 50-75% of time will be spent in the field, which we expect to gradually reduce over time with career progression.
