We’re seeking a
detail-oriented, compassionate, and reliable Program Assistant in Yanceyville, NC to join our
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team — a multidisciplinary group of professionals dedicated to providing wraparound mental health support for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

Your Role in Our Mission
As the
Program Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of the ACT Team — keeping operations running smoothly, supporting clinicians, and ensuring every client interaction is handled with care and professionalism.
You Will
- Coordinate all non-clinical operations of the ACT Team, ensuring efficient communication and follow-through.
- Maintain and organize medical records, reports, and confidential documentation.
- Support billing, budget tracking, and team accounting activities.
- Manage team communications — triaging calls, routing messages, and supporting daily coordination.
- Provide structured, face-to-face support and interventions that help individuals build life skills, problem-solve, and remain stable in the community.
- Ensure timely completion of reports, documentation, and utilization reviews.
- Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement, ACT model training, and peer review activities.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: Certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant or similar credential.
- Experience: At least 6 months in a behavioral health, healthcare, or community services setting preferred.
- Skills: Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through; comfortable with electronic records and data entry.
- Other: Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance and commitment to completing required trainings within agency timelines.
