Job Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at Lake Forest invites applications for a full-time radiation oncologist to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team. Position Summary:
The selected candidate will provide excellent radiation oncology care, including diagnosis, patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up management. In addition the candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services for patients with various cancer diagnoses.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physicists, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning.
- Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain excellence in patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency and interdepartmental collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary range: $450,000-$600,000, reflecting experience, qualifications, internal comparators, and external market benchmarks

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
