Principal Responsibilities: • Design and prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for statistical analysis and planning; • Collect, compile, and analyze data from various databases and perform statistical analysis for Avnet’s customer groups; • Develop reports and create dashboards providing financial related information needed to make informed business decisions; • Design, create, and implement templates to collect, display, and analyze data for assigned projects; • Communicate complex data in comprehensible ways; • Evaluate information from multiple sources and clearly indicates quality of final analysis; • Develop reports and other tools to deliver business information enabling business users to make informed decisions; • Gather, aggregate models, and analyze information from multiple external sources regarding company financial performance, customer insights, competitor profiling, competitive threats, potential product or technical expansion, industry trends and other such business intelligence aspects; • Establish standards and procedures for a variety of processes, conduct business analysis resulting in detailed creation and maintenance of business process mapping, requirements and training materials documentation; • Lead project teams; • Identify, investigate, and participate in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics. Work Experience: • REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; • Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. • Position also requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Tracking business requirements, statistical analysis, implementing project deliverables; Software development best practices; Unit testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Agile methodologies; Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS; Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL; and Spring MVC, Restful web services, and WebSphere.
