Description The Financial Analyst III is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information for Foundation Functions. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, budgets, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Maintains billing and collections activities. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts including fund balances. Acts as a conduit to outside audit firm and liaison to both outside firm and AtlantiCare finance teams. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Additional administrative tasks may be assigned as necessary. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: CPA, preferrred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years financial analysis knowledge with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in non profit accounting required. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position requires desk and computer work a majority of the day, with frequent walking, standing and reaching.
