The Opportunity
We are seeking an SAP Business Systems Analyst responsible for Order‑to‑Cash and Supply Chain processes for our SAP platforms. The role will own solution design, configuration, testing for Sales, Distribution, Logistics Execution, Materials Management and will partner closely with various IT and business stakeholders in Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance (AR), and IT Integration teams. You will play a key role in our ERP Upgrade roadmap—supporting brownfield/greenfield transitions, fit‑to‑standard design, driving consistent designs across global ERP platforms.
What You’ll Work On
Be a part of functional team for OTC (sales orders, pricing, deliveries, shipping, billing, credit, returns) and Supply Chain (procurement touchpoints, inventory, logistics execution, warehouse, ATP).
Drive fit‑to‑standard, gaps, and WRICEF design (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) for ERP programs.
Translate business requirements into functional specs; collaborate with ABAP/Integration for build via various integration methodology.
As part of ERP functional team, configure various modules such as Sales and Distribution, pricing, credit management, billing, tax, Logistics (delivery, picking, packing, PGI), shipping, and transportation basics.
Author and execute SIT/UAT test scripts; manage defects and regression across releases.
Coordinate data migration (customers, materials, pricing, open orders/deliveries/billing), cutover, and go‑live readiness plans.
Maintain process documentation, configuration runbooks, functional specifications, and training materials.
Adhere to Abbott’s formal SLC process.
Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Executive Management, IT Senior Management, the business sponsors, and the project team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics / Operations Management, Finance/Accounting
0-2 years of experience in IT related field
Basic understanding of Order to Cash, Supply Chain & logistics, Inventory Concepts
Strong Analytical & Problem‑Solving Ability
Comfort with learning ERP systems (various versions of SAP and required technical aspects)
Understanding of how tables, master data, and configuration relate (conceptually)
Strong Documentation & Communication Skills – able to document business and technical requirements, test scripts, training materials.
Preferred
SAP Learning Hub coursework
Exposure to S/4HANA (Fiori, BP, AATP concepts)
Internship in IT, supply chain, or business systems
Academic projects involving ERP
Experience managing within large SAP implementations strongly preferred
