JOB SUMMARY
The Data and Analytics team within SCM plays a critical role in delivering analytics and reporting solutions across SCM Enterprise Services, Nuclear, Generation & Gas, Power Delivery and Shared Services towers. This analyst position is responsible for developing analytics and reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to make data-informed decisions, leading to improved business outcomes, increased efficiencies, and higher customer satisfaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or other relevant analytical fields
· Advanced degree is a plus
Experience
· 3+ years of experience in data analytics and/or data management or other analytical fields
· Coding/programming and analytical proficiency in SQL, R and/or Python
· Advanced data visualization proficiency in Power BI or other visualization tools
· Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, and applications within MS Office Suite
· Strong analytical and reporting skills, with demonstrated work experience in data mining, query writing, and visualization
· Experience working cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization
· Experience with executive-level presentations that effectively communicate complex concepts
· Experience working with Maximo, Oracle and GEP systems are a plus
· Experience working with Alteryx or similar workflow management tools is a plus
· Experience working with Databricks is a plus
· Supply Chain Management or procurement knowledge/experience a plus
Knowledge and Skills
· High level of ownership and self-motivation to deliver high-quality end products, while proactively looking for opportunities for continuous improvement
· Intermediate-level skills in data analysis and reporting, internal enterprise analysis, marketplace analysis, and benchmarking
· Proficiency in data extraction and data mining from internal and external systems
· Ability to interpret data and turn it into actionable insights and communicate the business impact
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
· Ability and determination to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Basic understanding in competitive bidding, commercial agreements, inventory management, supplier relationship management, and facilitation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, enhance, and deploy complex, large-scale analytical models and/or reporting solutions to enable informed, data-driven decisions across SCM
· Identify data quality improvement opportunities, ensure data accuracy, consistency, and standards in alignment with Data Strategy
· Extract, transform and/or load (ETL) data from multiple sources for analytical and reporting end products
· Translate analytical and report findings into clear, actionable recommendations
· Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports
· Serve as analytics and/or reporting point of contact for SCM stakeholders, delivering timely end products aligned with business objectives
· Act as change agent using data-driven recommendations to promote and implement best practices and continuous improvement
· Promote and be a champion of Our Values and SCM initiatives for work team
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
· This position can require some travel – approximately 25% per year
