Meijer is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bakery Cake Decorator to join our in‑store Bakery team. This role is perfect for someone who loves creativity, enjoys working with customers, and takes pride in producing high‑quality baked goods that make celebrations memorable. You’ll help shape the customer experience by crafting beautiful cakes and desserts that reflect Meijer’s commitment to freshness, quality, and service.

What You'll be Doing:

Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and specialty desserts following Meijer standards and customer specifications.

Create custom designs for birthdays, weddings, holidays, andspecial events.

Maintain a clean, organized, and food‑safe work environment.

Ensure product availability by managing daily production and prepping items in advance.

Assistcustomers with design ideas, order placement, and product recommendations.

Package, label, and merchandise bakery items for display.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

Experience in cake decorating, including icing, piping, writing, and basic fondant techniques.

Strong artistic ability and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
