Why This Role Matters As
Manager, DC Operations & Analytics, you'll play a critical role at the intersection of finance, analytics, and distribution center operations. Your work will directly influence how labor is planned, tracked, and optimized across a multi-DC network-helping leaders make smarter decisions, control costs, and improve productivity without sacrificing service.
This is a highly visible role for a strategic leader who enjoys turning data into insight, building scalable processes, all while partnering closely with operational leaders.
What You'll Do You'll lead the function that ensures labor plans are accurate, actionable, and aligned with network goals-today and into the future.
Leadership & Team Development - Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong business partnership.
Labor Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting - Own and continuously improve the variable labor budgeting and forecasting process across the DC network.
- Partner closely with Operations Finance to evaluate labor plans and ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in labor tracking practices across sites.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights - Translate complex labor and financial data into actionable insights for DC leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with Workforce Planning to seamlessly integrate forecasts into labor planning cycles.
- Partner with Operations Excellence and DC leaders to support benchmarking standards for indirect and support labor.
- Provide guidance on labor tracking for specialized work such as projects, training, meetings, and other defined activities.
Process Ownership & Improvement - Maintain structured governance for job code setup, usage, and retirement.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and forecasting accuracy while working within established frameworks.
- Balance recurring reporting responsibilities with longer-term process improvements.
What You Bring Experience & Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in financial planning, workforce planning, supply chain operations, or analytics.
- 5+ years leading analysts and supporting cross-functional initiatives (preferred).
Functional Expertise - Strong understanding of labor budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning within supply chain or DC environments.
- Advanced knowledge of workforce planning principles and labor tracking methodologies.
- Solid understanding of DC operations, including indirect and support labor functions.
- High proficiency in Power BI and data visualization, with the ability to turn data into clear operational insights.
