Shape the Future of Payments — Join Amazon's Global Payments Tech
If you've ever wondered what it takes to move money at the speed of light — across continents, currencies, and millions of customers — this is your chance to be part of it.
We're looking for talented System Development Engineers to join one of the most impactful and fastest-growing teams at Amazon. You'll be working on the payment infrastructure that powers Amazon.com, Kindle, and AWS — systems that process tens of billions of dollars annually for over 100 million customers and merchants worldwide.
What makes this role different? This isn't just support — it's mission-critical engineering. You'll be solving real, complex problems at an unprecedented scale: diagnosing failures in live payment flows, improving reliability for customers across the globe, and directly influencing how we handle currency choice, in-store payments, pay on delivery, credit and debit transactions, seller disbursements, gift cards, and more.
What you'll contribute:
Keep Tier-1 payment services running with accuracy, speed, and high availability
Investigate and resolve issues that directly impact customer experience across numerous countries and payment methods
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive improvements that scale globally
Be part of building the next generation of online payment systems
Why join us? We move fast, think big, and genuinely care about each other's growth. You'll find competitive compensation, hands-on growth opportunities that accelerate your career, and a team culture where your ideas and contributions actually matter.
Come help us move all the money in the world — and grow your career while doing it.
