Application deadline: May 31, 2026
Amazon Web Services is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to support healthcare provider customers migrating Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to AWS.
Do you like helping hospital systems implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems? Would you like to do this using the latest cloud computing technologies? Do you have a knack for helping these organizations understand application architectures and integration approaches, and the consultative and leadership skills to launch a project on a trajectory to success? Are you familiar with security best practices for applications, servers, and networks? Do you want to be part of the business development team helping to establish Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a leading technology platform? Would you like to be part of a sales group, but have your opinion valued as a technical resource as part of planning and strategies?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who align with our Leadership Principles and possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address healthcare provider business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within the healthcare provider segment, specifically focused on Epic EHR workloads including production, alternate production, integrated real-time environments (IRE), and disaster recovery. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Enjoy working with healthcare provider customers. You will have a passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions for hospital systems migrating Epic EHR and associated clinical workloads to AWS.
Have a strong understanding of large scale computing solutions.
The ideal candidate will have past experience working as a systems or support engineer with Epic systems, and pre-sales experience in the healthcare IT space. You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions. You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
