The UNITE Program Manager is a key role within the Office of UNITE, tasked with providing leadership and project (program) delivery for the UNITE Consortium. This role involves planning, directing, and implementing specific UNITE deliverables, supporting the UNITE Program Lead in delivering its strategic goals and projects (programs). The Program Manager will work closely with various project and member teams, including the CISO Team, UNITE Leadership Team (ULT), Core Team, and Survey Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support key UNITE projects and programs under the leadership and direction of the UNITE Executive Director
- Provide support to the UNITE CISO Team in its strategic expectations directed by the CIO Team.
- Lead the planning and execution of the annual Business Metrics project, managing data input and reporting efforts.
- Utilize advanced data visualization tools, Power BI, reporting and analyzing business metrics.
- Provide management oversight to UNITE’s Survey Process, establishing and managing end-to-end operational standards, improving survey process and products, and producing quarterly performance metrics.
- Lead survey execution; providing support to survey coordinators.
- Design and implement Modern SharePoint sites for the consortium, ensuring smooth platform transition and maintenance and compliance with UNITE policies.
- Manage end-to-end UNITE financial processes, including invoicing schedules and process accuracy and timeliness in support of member needs.
- Support the planning and execution of UNITE CISO and ULT meetings.
- Provide connection and collaboration support, training, direction, and mentoring to other staff members within the Office of UNITE, fostering an expert to novice learning environment.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of strong project management experience, successfully leading and completing projects required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within a consortium or large enterprise, preferably in the technology departments of electric and gas utility companies.
- Knowledge of data reporting and analysis, emphasizing data-driven projects.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting using Power BI, to communicate business metrics.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering Modern SharePoint solutions.
- Experience with financial processes for membership management of consortium.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, emphasizing concise and clear communication.
- Mastery of Office suite of tools, emphasizing effective project management and communication.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires occasional travel to consortium offsite meetings.
- Work office environment will include in-office 4 days a week and leverage virtual collaboration tools.
