Application deadline: Jun 6, 2026
AWS Specialist and Partners (ASP) Planning & Business Operations is seeking a Business Operations Manager to own the central "run the business" mechanisms that keep ASP leadership informed, aligned, and operating efficiently. This role manages the operational cadence infrastructure — templates, scheduling, tooling, and process improvement — that enables ASP business-aligned teams to run effective executive reviews and leadership meetings at scale.
This role also serves as the knowledge management owner for the entire ASP Planning & Business Operations organization — maintaining a unified, accessible documentation ecosystem across all team-supported mechanisms (planning, executive reviews, leadership meetings, ticketing, internal product management). Subject matter experts across the team own their respective content; this role drives the standards, structure, and accessibility that make all documentation findable and current.
The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized and self-starting — someone who brings order to complexity, anticipates what teams need before they ask, and continuously improves operational mechanisms through simplification and AI-enabled automation.
This role partners closely with ASP leadership and their Chiefs of Staff, ASP Ops business-aligned teams, ASP Ops central planning team, ASP Ops data teams, and internal product management.
Key job responsibilities
* Own central ASP business mechanisms including the ASP xBR cadence (templates, scheduling, tooling, feedback incorporation) and ASP Leadership Team staff meeting agenda — ensuring consistent, efficient execution across cycles.
* Drive knowledge management excellence for ASP Planning & Business Operations — maintaining the team's umbrella Wiki encompassing planning, xBR, LT meetings, ticketing, product management, and all team-supported mechanisms.
* Partner with mechanism owners to ensure documentation stays accurate and accessible; establish standards for content structure, maintenance cadence, and discoverability.
* Collect and incorporate stakeholder feedback on operational processes and tooling — continuously simplifying mechanisms and eliminating friction.
* Build lightweight AI-enabled solutions (using Amazon Quick, Kiro, etc.) to automate recurring operational tasks, scale knowledge management, and reduce manual coordination effort.
* Proactively identify process gaps and improvement opportunities across business operations mechanisms — driving measurable efficiency gains cycle over cycle.
A day in the life
You kick off the week confirming the leadership meeting agenda is locked — speakers are prepped, pre-reads are distributed, timing is tight. Between meetings, you check in with xBR owners across each business-aligned team to confirm templates are updated and the next review is on track. You notice the Wiki for one mechanism is outdated, so you flag the owner and update the structure yourself. In the afternoon, you tune the AI agent that auto-drafts meeting recaps and routes follow-ups. You end the day knowing that tomorrow, 50+ people will walk into their meetings with everything they need — because you made it seamless.
