Amazon’s Last Mile Fleet Planning and Optimization team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to drive the most efficient use of fleet. In this role, you'll leverage your analytical expertise to plan capacity and improve utilization, directly impacting our ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
You'll own the end-to-end fleet capacity planning program for Last Mile, building mechanisms that drive allocation decisions across diverse business units. This is a high-visibility role where your analytical rigor and program management expertise directly translate to customer delivery performance and cost efficiency at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the fleet capacity planning program end-to-end: define methodology, build mechanisms, drive adoption across business units
- Design and implement decision-making frameworks that translate complex fleet utilization data into actionable allocation recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning Operations, Finance, Network Planning, and Technology to optimize fleet deployment against demand signals
- Build and maintain the metrics ecosystem for fleet utilization, identifying trends and driving corrective actions before they become customer-impacting
- Develop scalable mechanisms (WBRs, dashboards, escalation paths) that enable the organization to self-serve on capacity decisions
- Influence stakeholders across multiple business units to adopt standardized fleet planning approaches
