As a Device Software Development Manager on the Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) team, you will design and develop embedded software for Amazon Leo's satellite and ground systems. You’ll work on fault-tolerant, real-time platforms, collaborating closely with hardware, systems, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance embedded solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with peer teams and customers to design suitable platform software systems and interfaces with underlying hardware.
- Define, build and lead the SW integration team that is responsible for all embedded deliverables
- Develop a strategic plan for the growth of the team, both from a software and integrated mission outcomes perspective.
- Hire & Develop a diverse team of software engineers.
- Collaborate with your fellow team members to integrate various system elements, both hardware and software.
Security Clearance : This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI.
