The R2L team is responsible for building the next generation supply chain for Amazon's world-class ultra-fast customer experiences including Amazon Fresh groceries, Sub-Same Day, Amazon Now, and other soon-to-launch exciting new businesses. We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead program management across our AI and Analytics teams supporting across R2L's end-to-end network including Supply Chain, Operations, Delivery, Operational Excellence, and Finance. This role owns two critical mandates: standardizing and prioritizing technical delivery across BI, data engineering, and analytics teams, and building frameworks that democratize AI capabilities to drive operational excellence through intelligent automation.
You will build the capability development programs, enablement frameworks, and partnership mechanisms that transform R2L employees into AI-capable problem solvers who can build self-help tools and prototypes using their business knowledge. This includes creating structured learning pathways that enable employees to graduate from foundational AI skills to active problem-solving, facilitating partnerships with Tech teams to scale prototypes into production solutions, and measuring success through AI proficiency.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the prioritization framework for incoming requests across multiple R2L tech teams, balancing business impact, resource constraints, and strategic alignment across verticals (Delivery, Opx, Supply Chain, DC, QC, Grocery FC, Rush, Quick Commerce), and drive quarterly/annual planning cycles aligning tech team capacity with business roadmaps and OP commitments
- Drive standardization of program management practices across technical teams comprising business intelligence engineers, data engineers, and technical program managers, establishing product development lifecycle standards, quality control mechanisms, and project intake/estimation/tracking processes
- Translate the AI enablement vision into executable roadmaps, designing programs that transform employees into AI-capable problem solvers through scalable playbooks, role-based pathways (AI Explorer, Practitioner, Champion), and an AI Champions network that fosters a culture of AI-first thinking
- Develop and implement AI-powered solutions that enhance analytics workflows, automate reporting processes, and drive data-driven decision-making at scale, while enabling employees to identify high-impact use cases and build proof-of-concepts for scaling
- Work with business stakeholders and BI engineers to build metrics that measure performance across Last Mile and NA Operations, defining and tracking KPIs for AI adoption, productivity gains, and ROI with quantified impact assessments for senior leadership
- Create transparency into team capacity, project pipeline health, and delivery velocity, escalating resource conflicts, dependency risks, and sequencing trade-offs to enable leadership to make informed investment decisions
