Workplace Solutions Manager (Facilities)
Please Note ; This position will require you to be in the office at GA Corp HQ, 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA Full-time & will require approx. 25% (local) travel to other GA Power facilities/buildings.
The Workplace Solutions Manager leads the Workplace Solutions team, overseeing multiple functional areas focused on enhancing the employee experience across our corporate headquarters and statewide locations. This role manages Workplace Services, Business Services, and Facility Management Services, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
The Workplace Solutions Manager is responsible for developing and implementing scalable, efficient business solutions that meet the company’s evolving needs while upholding compliance, financial stewardship, and organizational standards.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Workplace Solutions Manager leads a high-performing team of six direct employees along with dozens of vendor and contractor partners. This role is accountable for defining and delivering departmental, organizational, and company vision—positioning the team to achieve results through collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. The manager will optimize team strengths, identify and develop untapped potential, and foster an environment of trust, empathy, and active listening. They will demonstrate adaptability and the ability to pivot strategies when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
The position requires setting and implementing scalable strategies that maximize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction—while upholding compliance, modeling Our Values, and promoting ethical business practices. Strategies may include exploring shared services, consolidation, and right-sizing opportunities to ensure financial transparency, resource efficiency, and flexible business solutions. The manager will also champion a culture of inclusion, openness to new perspectives, and recognition that multiple approaches can lead to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management – Lead strategic vendor relationships to align customer needs with business goals. Provide contract oversight, pursue standardization and optimization, explore shared services, and foster supplier diversity. Develop scalable solutions that address evolving customer requirements.
- Conference Services – Oversee all collaboration spaces and support services at the GPC corporate office. Engage with executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders to meet technology, resource, and facility needs, coordinating with building management and Facilities colleagues to deliver optimal outcomes.
- Organizational Communications - Partner across the Facilities organization to develop and deliver clear, timely communications that inform stakeholders about new programs, changes, and services. Ensure messaging is accurate, audience-focused, and supports organizational goals.
- Business Solutions – Manage the team responsible for validating, reconciling, and processing transactional activities for GPC, SCS, and GAS. Supervise invoice handling, purchase orders, requisitions, and expense statements with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Apply GAAP knowledge to ensure compliance and sound financial management.
- Facilities Management Support – Streamline statewide business services through strategic planning, service modeling, and best practices. Implement right-sizing initiatives for cost savings, operational efficiency, and enhanced financial visibility, resulting in a unified and consistent service delivery model.
- Waste Management – serves as the primary Georgia Power stakeholder for the One/SCM Category Waste Management initiative. Oversee non-profiled waste activities, manage related vendors, partner on needs assessments, expand recycling and sustainability efforts, and ensure regulatory compliance through collaboration with Waste and Remediation sponsors.
- Childcare Services – serves as the primary liaison between Southern Company and the designated Bright Horizons childcare centers, fostering strong relationships to ensure alignment with employee needs and company standards. This role coordinates communication, resolves service issues, and collaborates with center leadership to enhance program quality, accessibility, and satisfaction for participating families..
