JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Literacy and Adoption Analyst is responsible for leading communication, digital literacy, end-user adoption, and stakeholder engagement efforts for technology initiatives across the DWS organization. This role serves as a key liaison between business partners, technology teams, leadership, and end users to ensure technology-related messaging is clear, accurate, timely, engaging, and easy to understand.
The analyst develops communication strategies, roadmaps, campaigns, and learning resources that promote awareness and successful adoption of new tools, processes, and capabilities. The role combines communications, content creation, event planning, change management, and digital adoption responsibilities to help employees feel informed, prepared, and confident using technology.
They create and manage a variety of content, including email communications, newsletters, SharePoint articles, Viva Engage posts, presentations, reference materials, training resources, short instructional videos, user stories, and promotional materials. They also lead Digital Literacy projects, events, office hours, learning sessions, and campaigns while defining and tracking metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously improve engagement.
Creativity, strong communication skills, customer focus, and the ability to translate complex technical information into relatable, user-friendly language are essential for success in this role.
This position requires working onsite four (4) days per week at either Birmingham, AL 35203 or Atlanta, GA 30308
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience creating instructional videos, promotional content, customized graphics, and end-user learning materials.
- Strong written, verbal, editing, proofreading, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, consistency, and audience-appropriate messaging.
- Experience developing communication plans, adoption strategies, roadmaps, campaigns, engagement initiatives, and change management activities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including SharePoint, Teams, Teams meetings such as Town hall and Teams Webinar, Outlook, Viva Engage, Stream, Clipchamp, and related collaboration tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to leverage digital tools, cloud platforms, project management tools, data analysis, and success metrics to improve communication, adoption, and user engagement.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand content for non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to create newsletters, articles, web and intranet content, knowledge base articles, presentations, training materials, reference guides, and communication campaigns.
- Experience managing SharePoint sites, including content governance, audits, testing, user experience improvements, and ongoing maintenance.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, campaigns, stakeholders, and cross-functional content updates.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, office hours, training sessions, learning events, virtual engagements, and large-group presentations.
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, influence outcomes, gain consensus, and achieve results through collaboration and persuasive communication.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, with 1–2 years of experience in website design, technical writing, communications, or content creation for non-technical audiences.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic communication, engagement, and adoption plans that support DWS technology initiatives, organizational goals, and stakeholder needs.
- Create engaging educational and promotional content, including guides, presentations, graphics, videos, success stories, training materials, and adoption resources.
- Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and measure Digital Literacy programs, workshops, office hours, learning events, user engagement activities, and leadership-sponsored learning series.
- Create, edit, proofread, and publish communications across multiple channels, including newsletters, email campaigns, SharePoint articles, Viva Engage posts, and companywide messaging.
- Attend project meetings to understand upcoming initiatives, identify communication and adoption requirements, and develop supporting communication strategies and content.
- Partner with business leaders, technology teams, Corporate Communications, and other stakeholders to ensure messaging is aligned, consistent, and effective.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and actionable communications for non-technical audiences.
- Manage and maintain technology websites, SharePoint sites, intranet content, knowledge articles, and digital resources, ensuring accuracy, usability, relevance, and consistency.
- Conduct content reviews and audits to improve user experience, eliminate outdated information, and maintain quality standards across communication channels.
- Manage communication calendars, campaign schedules, project timelines, and planning meetings to ensure effective coordination and timely delivery.
- Support DWS organizational change management, technology rollouts, executive communications, and emergency communications with clear, customer-focused messaging.
- Define, track, and analyze communication, adoption, event, and website engagement metrics; gather audience feedback and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Leverage Microsoft 365 and related technologies while ensuring compliance with branding standards, communication best practices, legal requirements, and emerging industry trends.
