Job Description:
Mentor and build relationships with team members by working alongside them in the office or field locations. Coordinate the combined work of contractors and field personnel during large-scale projects. Oversee and monitor the daily work records from FlowGIS and perform field audits; ensuring work meets Company standards and is completed in accordance with Illinois Commerce Commission Part 501 requirements. Assist Measurement Superintendent with supervisory duties, purchase orders and the ordering and receiving of materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Coordinates and oversee all major Measurement projects
•Performs periodic field audits to confirm proper completion of compliance tasks.
•Perform periodic field audits on all new meter sets.
•Routinely interface with Billing Department to provide billing investigation data and recommended billing adjustments.
•Monitor daily Electronic Volume Corrector (EVC) paperwork received from FlowGIS.
•Request RFQ’s, create purchase orders and receive materials in Oracle and Maximo.
•Monitor and schedule Measurement Specialist’s work using Click Scheduler and Microsoft Outlook.
•Provides the necessary field information to the Storage and Peaking, Reservoir, Engineering and Construction Operations groups.
•Ensures job safety, contractor work quality, and compliance meet Company Construction standards.
•Maintain inventory of parts, fittings, EVCs, turbine and high-pressure rotary meters.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Required:
• High School diploma or GED
• 3-5 years’ experience in gas operations
Skills:
Required:
• Understanding of AGA Guidelines, Illinois Part 501 and natural gas formulas and calculations (corrected measurement, flow rate, proper meter sizing, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability
•Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers
•Ability to multitask and work independently
•Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
