Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our last mile delivery network and drive AI adoption across corporate and frontline teams. This role will focus on building the culture, tools, and measurement systems that make AI part of daily work, prioritizing based on real team needs rather than a fixed technology mandate. A successful candidate will be able to deliver measurable gains in adoption, efficiency, and cost avoidance across Amazon Logistics, OTR Planning. This individual will be expected to activate and coach a Champion network, manage a use-case pipeline from idea to launch, and report progress to senior leadership on a recurring cadence. Judgment on which tools actually solve a team's problem is paramount, along with strong program management and stakeholder influence skills. In this role you will be responsible for adoption strategy and culture change, use-case prioritization and delivery in partnership with Orbit, and impact measurement and reporting.
Key job responsibilities
- Own AI adoption strategy and drive the "AI-everywhere" culture shift: design hands-on experimentation programs (Shark Tanks, hackathons, lunch and learns), activate and coach a 10-15 person AI Champion network, and publish a weekly practical-tips newsletter.
- Build organizational self-sufficiency with the right AI tools for each job family: validate real use cases, then coach the owner to build their own solution with low-code AI tools, jumping in as a hands-on builder yourself when that moves things faster.
- Own the use-case intake and prioritization pipeline: crowdsource ideas, evaluate against impact and effort, and spot patterns that reveal a shared infrastructure gap. Partner with Orbit and other tech teams to build the platform capability, like a system connector, that unlocks the category for owner-builders.
- Define success metrics before building, not after: track adoption, usage, and time saved for every use case, calculate ROI, and report impact to leadership on a recurring cadence.
- Own the AI Center of Excellence as the organization's single source of truth for tools, playbooks, and training, organized by job family and kept current as tools and use cases evolve.
- Report AI adoption and impact metrics to the leadership through a monthly steering committee and quarterly report.
A day in the life
You start your morning publishing this week's AI Flash: one practical tip and a success story from a recent tool adopter. You spend an hour in Champion office hours, troubleshooting a use case and coaching two Champions for their first session. Midday, you review three use-case submissions: two go to their owners with a build plan. In the afternoon, you walk your leadership through this month's dashboard, then close the day in the hallway, spotting where AI is working.
