The Senior Program Manager of Catalog Strategy & Execution is a strategic individual contributor role within the Global Manufacturing & Distribution Services organization. This position owns the critical link between enterprise procurement strategy and measurable buying behavior across Amazon. The role holder will consolidate what were previously separate project management and catalog strategy functions into a single, high-impact position that drives catalog integrity, program execution, spend compliance, and cross-functional alignment. This role also serves as the primary category liaison to the Category Strategy & Insights (CSI) team.

Essential Job Functions
Catalog Strategy & Governance: Define, own, and execute the end-to-end catalog strategy for Global Manufacturing & Distribution Services. Align catalog governance standards including taxonomy, item classification, supplier mapping, and content quality requirements with the Global Procurement Central Services team.
Program Execution & Delivery: Lead cross-functional programs that translate sourcing decisions, supplier negotiations, and manufacturing investments into measurable catalog outcomes. Manage program timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
Spend Compliance & Adoption: Design and implement frameworks that drive enterprise-wide spend compliance with preferred supplier programs and negotiated contracts. Track, analyze, and report on user adoption rates and buying behavior to identify gaps and opportunities.
CSI Category Liaison: Serve as the dedicated interface between the Global Manufacturing & Distribution Services category team and Strategic Initiatives. Ensure bi-directional alignment on procurement priorities, market intelligence, and category roadmaps.
Savings Realization: Own savings pipeline and contribute directly to annual team savings targets. Develop business cases, track savings delivery, and report on financial performance against plan.
Catalog Operations Transformation: Redesign catalog administration processes to eliminate fragmentation, reduce operational burden, and enable proactive management. Partner with technology teams to automate catalog workflows and improve data quality.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with sourcing managers, procurement leaders, operations teams, finance, and technology partners across multiple pillars and regions. Prepare and present program updates, savings reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into catalog health, programs status, adoption metrics, and savings performance. Use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
