Play a leading role in operational global risk improvement at Amazon.com, where we have a tradition of leading the world in innovative technologies and services. This Business Analyst role will help business leaders make sense of complicated insurance data by building reports, analyzing complex data sets, and effectively communicating their findings to all levels of leadership.
Key job responsibilities
• Retrieve and analyze insurance and claim data using Excel, SQL, Access, Tableau, and other data management systems.
• Monitor existent metrics, identify and develop new metrics, and analyze them in partnership with internal teams and external vendors to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement both ad hoc and recurring/automatic reporting solutions to enable stakeholders and leadership to manage the business and make effective decisions.
• Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of new and existing program implementation.
• Drive small to medium operational enhancement projects.
• Research and implement cost reduction opportunities.
