This position will report to the Yates/Wansley Compliance and Support Manager. The Administrative Representative is to provide customer service and administrative support to the plant and the Plant Manager directly. This position requires working within a team as well as working independently. The position has administrative responsibilities for both Plant Yates and Plant Wansley.
Key expectations include:
- Manage/maintain calendar/schedule and email for Plant Manager (as needed)
- Keep plant management abreast of all facility meetings and visitors
- Manage/maintain confidential files and information
- Prepare site specific information for Plants Wansley and Yates
- Organize & schedule meetings, conference calls & related logistics (i.e., agendas, handouts, reservations, refreshments, etc.)
- Manage inventory of supplies for
- Answer phones and assist callers to meet their needs
- Prepare timesheets and enter time into Oracle
- Work with and support other Generation admin staff
- Support plant personnel with expense statements (iExpense)
- Provide monthly fuel reports to Fuel Accounting using Comtrac
- Create desktop requisitions, create purchase requests as needed to support administrative functions of Yates and Wansley
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements _:_
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years clerical experience required
- Minimum of three [3] years previous work experience in Administrative Assistant role performing the responsibilities listed in the job summary
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Teams
- Experience with HR Information System Database (Oracle) for electronic keeping and expense reporting
- Experience with accounting practices for tracking costs and project spend
- Experience in document and/or records information management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, management, peer administrative reps and business unit personnel across the company
- Must be skilled in delivering work products with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple activities simultaneously
- Possess the ability to determine priorities and meet required deadlines with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate proficiency in both verbal and written communications
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to audit the timekeeping function (e.g. Time Entry/Verification, Excess Straight Time, Non-Productive Time, Substitution hours, etc.).

- May periodically work overtime and weekend(s) to support demands of the plant
