As a Procurement Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth team operations, managing critical processes, identifying cross-category opportunities, and driving strategic transformation initiatives. You will play a crucial role in optimizing procurement operations and supporting the overall efficiency of the ISCaP DCSP organization.
The ideal candidate thinks long term, drives multiple initiatives, and communicates appropriately and influences customers and suppliers at all levels. Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Ensure procurement team operations function smoothly, optimizing processes and workflows
-Manage the monthly Monthly Business Review (MBR) process, preparing and presenting key metrics and insights
-Oversee the Weekly Business Review (WBR) process, facilitating effective communication and decision-making
-Use data driven decision making to Identify and size cross-category opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost savings
-Project manage strategic transformation initiatives to improve procurement operations
-Collaborate with category managers and stakeholders to manage operational goals process, oversee regular updates and inclusion into MBR/WBR or other docs as needed
-Conduct periodic policy and governance reviews to enhance compliance in critical processes, including sourcing events. Identify improvement opportunities, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
