The AWS Department of Defense (DoD) team is looking for an exceptional Customer Engagement Manager to manage workstreams across the U.S. Army business.
You will join a team of Account Executives, Customer Solutions Managers, and Solution Architects in overseeing existing and pursuing new contract requirements, milestones, and deliverables. You will be responsible for creating, driving and executing requirements and documentation between executive leadership, Account and Extended Teams, and other internal business operations support.
You will drive strategic planning, process improvement, and execution on key projects for the AWS Army business. The Army sales team provides Customer Obsessed support for the mission, drives innovation, formulates strategies, and manages day-to-day activities including executive engagement, planning, logistics, and special projects.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and drive ongoing operational review of the U.S. Army Account Team. This involves envisioning current state improvements and developing future state operating models.
- Design and manage processes to develop strategic objectives, budgets and execution plans for key customer programs and initiatives.
- Lead the project management of strategic initiatives. This will include identifying opportunities for and creating new mechanisms, capturing, recording, synthesizing, and leveraging data, and prioritizing based on goals, business needs, and business impact.
- Develop and refine programs to support the team's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals.
- Align program priorities and resources to the needs of the broader DoD Team.
- Focus on internal and external stakeholder engagement, delivery, and execution.
- Meet regularly with Amazon internal stakeholders to develop effective methods for assuring timely delivery of customer commitments.
- Develop and execute effective methods of communication among AWS and government stakeholders.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen. The candidate ideally possesses an active Secret or above security clearance or has the ability to get a clearance.
