JOB SUMMARY
This Supervisor position provides leadership and oversight for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work activities in the Storeroom and Power Delivery team. This position manages Repair Shop material inventory, inventory audits, documents and processes single phase equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School Diploma required
- Technical degree or extensive experience desirable
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Demonstrated organization skills and understanding of IBEW and local craft labor contracts
- Understands and adhere to the GAP61 procedure
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle, and MAXIMO
- Ability to work with people to achieve organizational objectives
- Ability to make decisions and demonstrate short/long-term strategic vision of the Repair Shop
- Must possess effective written and oral communications skills and exhibit Our Values behavior
- Must be able to support 24/7 operation including holidays, nights, and weekends when necessary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to covered employees
- Manage Repair Shop storerooms 19930, 19940 and 19950 according to GAP61 procedure
- Maintain accurate count of inventory
- Shipping and receiving material
- Process Desktop Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Invoices
- Ensure accurate data documentation and processing of single-phase equipment
- Develop the work plan/schedule for jobs, implement it, and track success
- Serve as supervisor and support for other Repair Shop departments when needed
- Attend and participate in the weekly planning meeting
- Foster an environment of teamwork, self-motivation, open communication, and customer support
- Perform and document Connected Conversations with employees
