SITE PROJECT LEAD
Summary of Duties:
This position is assigned to the Maintenance Contracts Department and reports to the Maintenance Contracts Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide oversight to ensure the safe, error free implementation of supplemental maintenance work. In addition, the responsibilities include ensuring all site maintenance implementation and design requirements are met for plant modifications. Duties required of the Project Lead include:
• Lead a team to provide effective oversight of assigned supplemental personnel
• Performing operational risk assessment/mitigation for the work.
• Drive the Work Management Process to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently and effectively.
• Lead and mentor contractors to develop a high level of craftsmanship with an emphasis on maintenance fundamentals, nuclear safety, personnel safety and equipment reliability.
• Provide oversight for contract staff and provide intervention and coaching to reinforce management expectations and positive behaviors.
This individual must have leadership skills to lead teams with multiple implementing organizations and coordinate activities between the teams. Additionally, has the ability to manage other task directors and act as the site representative while task directors implement assigned projects.
This position will require travel (up to 25%).
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Four years maintenance/project implementation related experience required
• One year of commercial or Navy nuclear power experience required
• Four years of leadership experience, (FLS, Team Lead, etc..) required.
• Previous work order planning and or scheduling experience preferred

• Must be well organized and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously

• Must be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work in any environment demanded of the work force, including temperature extremes and elevations
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and/or I&C as applicable to power generation
• Must have a working knowledge of OSHA and NRC requirements and be familiar with plant design and function.
• Previous nuclear and/or industrial experience
• Must have a working knowledge of plant maintenance and shop practices with aptitude in all disciplines
