In this role, you will be the customers' trusted advisor and technical expert. Collaborating with sales, you'll facilitate product adoption and growth for Akamai and our customers.
As a Solutions Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating technology and designing solutions to meet customer's needs and goals.
- Building and growing relationships to articulate value proposition and build revenue opportunities.
- Managing the proposal process and ensuring all information and recommendations are accurate.
- Working with sales to develop opportunities through presentations, consultations, demonstrations, analysis reports and proof of concepts.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 years working in a customer-facing or consulting role in technical presales/sales engineering/post-sales.
- Have domain knowledge of products and processes related to Digital Media - streaming, content security, broadcasting, online publishing, social media, gaming.
- Have 3+ years of Internet technologies, and protocols, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Web architecture and design, TLS, Live/VOD Streaming, OTT Broadcasting and Games Industry technologies.
- Have a passion for cloud technologies (such as architectures, cloud migration methodologies), internet applications design, and networking.
- Have experience in presenting technical topics and possess excellent communication skills for both technical and management audiences.
- Find fulfillment in teamwork, thriving in an atmosphere that values ideas, and solving issues in evolving contexts.
