The Vulnerability Initiatives, Products, and Services organization is looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager with deep technical expertise in security operations and scanning management to join us in building our vulnerability management products.
Within Stores Security, the Vulnerability Management and Remediation Operations (VMR Operations) organization is responsible for all aspects of the Vulnerability Management lifecycle across Amazon including intake, assessment, discovery, and remediation.

Key job responsibilities
- You will be responsible for driving the strategic, technical, and engineering direction across Host, Container, VMR Operations, and partner team operations as part of vulnerability management.
- You will leverage relationships with engineers across Stores Security, business teams, and leaders throughout Amazon prioritize deliverables, escalate roadblocks, and improve organizational processes.
- You will build trust with Principal Engineers and executive leaders by leveraging your technical expertise to understand technical challenges, design improved solutions, and hold a high program bar.
- You will use your information security expertise to champion and drive risk-based decisions across complex, multi-disciplinary programs to ensure Amazon properly manages security risk.
A day in the life
You will report to the head of the vulnerability management and remediation (VMR) charter spanning multiple senior leaders (100+ person organization). You will work broadly across Director, VP, and Senior VP organizations to deliver results across several VMR product, program, and operation initiatives. Your days will involve Dive Deep with product and operations team to help builders remediate issues, while also surfacing key insights to executive leaders about how the business is progressing towards their targets. You will personally lead executive communication, documents, and programs that deliver top level outcomes for Amazon's leadership.
