Administrative Assistant – Regulatory Affairs – Plant Farley
Summary of Position Duties
This position will provide administrative support for the Regulatory Affairs Manager and Engineering Director. This position will also provide administrative support for employees within the departments. The key expectations include:
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintaining calendar oversite for Regulatory Affairs Manager and Engineering Director.
- Organizing and scheduling meetings via conference calls and managing all related logistics to successfully conduct the meetings (i.e., equipment for presentations, agenda, handouts, reservations, refreshments, etc.)
- Making travel arrangements (i.e., airline tickets, lodging, transportation)
- Preparing expense statements
- Timekeeper for department
- Additional miscellaneous administrative support duties such as scanning documents into D2. This position will periodically support OR, HR and Engineering departments with scanning documents
- Order and maintain all departmental supplies
- Partner with the senior administrative team to support external group site visits by providing necessary support as requested by management
- PRB Secretary
- Support NSRB site visits as the lead administrative assistant. This includes gathering all NSRB data, placing data on NSRB SharePoint, reserving conference rooms, and scheduling interviews.
- Onboarding NRC Residents
- Executive Assistant backup, as needed
- Position may require working overtime, nights, and/or weekends for refueling outages or special projects
- Sort and deliver applicable mail and packages
- Assist with other clerical duties as assigned
- Must perform daily with a safety-focused attitude and commitment to zero accidents or injuries
Test Requirements:
- Must qualify on the SHL Clerical Aptitude test and, if invited, a Microsoft Office Skills test.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma is required
- Two (2) years of college (preferred)
Experience Requirements:
- Five (5) years administrative support of a senior level leader (preferred)
- Three (3) years administrative support experience (required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, management, peer admin assistants and business unit personnel across the fleet.
- Must be skilled in delivering work products with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
