Position: Sales Operations III
Location: Seattle, WA
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Improve resource management processes and functions, and ensure that effective management of company and external resources is operationally effective and allows the company to be more competitive.
2. Lead weekly reviews with the practice group (practice managers, team leads, and regional heads of services) to plan consultant assignments, review bookings, work through conflicts, and identify opportunities for consultants.
3. Handle staffing escalations from start to finish ensuring that the business are supported throughout the process and resource management process is followed.
4. Multi-task across various timezones to ensure that there is appropriate resource management coverage for the practice.
5. Drive system and process improvement initiatives to strengthen the resource management process within the practice and identify regular opportunities to adapt as the business grows.
6. Proactively spot forecasted bench time for consultants and work with the resource management team to ensure that the practice team are identified for the right opportunities.
7. Ensure that there is a distinction and support in the resourcing process of the practice as a supply team against demand.
8. Prepare regular supply analysis for Practice PMs and Resource Management Advertise open project assignments, and promote the availability of consultants globally to encourage sharing of resources across regions to increase utilization.
9. Monitor resource assignments and timesheet data to ensure accuracy of forecast to reduce estimated vs. actual time.
10. Compile, lead and analyze resource management reports (available resources, current resource allocations, resource needs due to changing project needs, etc.) for delivery to Practice Management.
11. Liaise with Practice Management in fulfillment of project staffing requests, prioritizing resource requests and resolving resource allocation conflicts for the division or project assigned.
12. Work with engagement and practice managers to review and design resourcing plans to deliver against project deliverables while leveraging the best available staffing from internal regional resources, center of excellence staff, and third party contractors and partners.
13. Define and coordinate the introduction and implementation of new Operations/Resource Management tools, infrastructure, and processes.
14. Conduct research to identify alternate staffing solutions and/or, alternate processes for improvement Placing our people into roles, balancing their development needs with the needs of the business.
15. Build a good understanding of the people within the teams that you are Resource Manager for, understanding their aspirations and development needs and maintaining a current view of their forecasts.
16. 100% telecommuting permitted, work may be performed anywhere in the U.S.
17. Domestic or international travel up to 10% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
