The Director of Executive and Equity Compensation will own the ongoing execution and periodic redesign of compensation programs for our executive team.
As an Executive and Equity Compensation Director, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the strategy, design, implementation, and communication of executive compensation programs.
- Providing strategic guidance leadership and preparing materials, benchmarking, and recommendations for executive pay decisions.
- Owning and partnering in the development of the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) and related SEC filings.
- Partnering with compensation team on initiatives, including annual compensation planning, bonus program and equity strategies / budgets.
- Partnering with Finance/Legal teams to ensure compliance with SEC, IRS, and public company governance requirements.
- Designing and optimizing corporate equity compensation strategies that support recruitment, motivation, retention of talent globally
- Monitoring and responding to proxy advisor guidelines and shareholder expectations on pay practices and governance.
- Staying current on emerging compensation trends in the technology industry and recommend practices to enhance our programs.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 10+years of progressive compensation experience and a Bachelors degree
- 5+ years focused on executive and equity compensation in the technology industry
- Have experience working with Compensation Committees and preparing materials for Board-level review, including partnering with external consultants.
- Show a proven track record of successful proxy preparation and managing external compensation consultants.
- Have a deep understanding of tech-sector equity practices, including RSUs and performance equity design.
- Bring an executive presence and excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with C-suite and Board members.
- Show proficiency in Excel and HRIS/compensation tools (e.g., Radford, Oracle Cloud, etc.).
