The Opportunity
The Sr Product Manager Americas works out of our Des Plaines, or Willis Tower (IL) location in the Abbott Molecular Business Unit. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
We're looking for a strategic marketer to lead the development and execution of marketing and commercial plans for some of our most important and complex products or services. Travel: Up to 30% (Primarily within the U.S. and Canada)
What You’ll Work On
Lead market research efforts to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor activity contributing to the market plan.
Guide market insights for development and pricing strategies, manage all aspects of a downstream product launch.
Oversee advertising campaigns and track performance to ensure marketing efforts are effective.
Analyze customer feedback and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement or innovation.
Collaborate with internal teams like R&D and production to implement product or service enhancements.
Adjust marketing strategies as needed to improve results.
Work with advertising teams to create compelling campaigns and materials tailored to our target audiences.
Plan and manage key industry conferences and events ensuring budgets are maintained.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in similar field
5+ years of experience in Similar Role
Diagnostics or Healthcare Experience
Marketing Experience of 3+ years
Preferred Qualifications
Product Launch Experience of over 5 years (GTM)
Experience in Organizing and overseeing conferences over 5 years
Experience in MLR Reviews of over 5 years Campaign Management
CRM Experience (Salesforce or other)
Sales Training Experience beneficial
