Position Summary
We’re seeking a
Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making across clinical operations, human resources, and organizational performance. This role is perfect for someone who can translate complex business needs into actionable insights and create visually compelling dashboards that align with our mission.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports using healthcare, HR, and operational data.
- Build and manage semantic models, KPIs, and visualizations following data governance standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and visual representations.
- Document data lineage for transparency and maintainability.
- Monitor key metrics such as patient outcomes, staffing, turnover, and employee engagement.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses to support leadership and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance across multiple sources.
- Train users and promote self-service analytics.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence development, preferably in healthcare or HR.
- Expertise in Power BI, DAX, T-SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with SQL Server (on-premises).
- Understanding of healthcare and HR data, including EHRs, claims, HRIS, and payroll.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and data governance best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
