We are seeking an experienced District Sales Manager to drive sales growth by effectively leading a sales team and managing key relationships with media and entertainment customers across the Western United States. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of account executives, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned district. This leader will be responsible for all aspects of the team, including ensuring customer satisfaction, revenue achievement, driving the growth strategy, and nurturing the executive relationships with both AWS and the customers. This role will manage the goals, objectives, and performance of the team.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead and develop a team of account executives focused on media and entertainment customers
• Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers at major media and entertainment companies
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management
• Collaborate with solutions architects, professional services, specialty teams, and partner teams to develop customer solutions
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in the media & entertainment industry
