Job Summary:
Manufacturing Inventory Control Technician II plays a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels within a manufacturing environment. Inventory Control Technicians are responsible for inventory management, documentation control, proper reporting procedures, safety, and process efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):
- High School Diploma or equivalency preferred. A combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- 3 Years of experience in a manufacturing and / or inventory control environment
- Certification on Powered Industrial Trucks/ pallet jacks
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
- Ability to write reports.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- ERP experience to include IFS for >1 year.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of general counting, plus the application of general warehousing and logistics theory.
- Must have a basic understanding of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Picking / Kitting, receiving and put away, A counts for cycle counts.
- Proficient in inventory Control
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Standing and walking 6-8 hours each day. Stretching and lifting overhead, bending over to work on lower locations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Loud, warm in the summer months- cool in the winter months, dusty, near forklifts.
