Human Resources Intern
Location: Easterseals PORT Health (North Carolina & Virginia)
Compensation: $12–$15/hour

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate
Human Resources Intern to join our collaborative and supportive HR team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven, nonprofit healthcare organization that is dedicated to enhancing lives and strengthening communities across North Carolina and Virginia.
What You’ll Do
As an HR Intern, you’ll support a wide range of HR functions while learning directly from experienced professionals. You will gain exposure to core HR practices and contribute to meaningful projects, including:
- Recruitment and onboarding support
- Employee engagement and training initiatives
- Compliance and documentation processes
- Researching HR best practices and policies
- Providing general administrative support for HR projects
You’ll be part of a dynamic team that values professionalism, growth, and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For

- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Be able to complete assigned projects with attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Show enthusiasm for teamwork and supporting others
