Job Summary
The Strategic Growth Communications Team serves as a center of excellence for shaping and executing Georgia Power’s growth communications strategy. The team will coordinate across multiple functions to tell our growth story and drive proactive engagement with communities and stakeholders.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing campaign execution including timelines, resources, and timely delivery of assets to support engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of communication plans to support the growth communications strategy.
- Create and manage project plans and timelines to meet deadlines.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets required for campaign execution.
- Maintain asset library to ensure all content remains up to date.
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows, managing tasks and dependencies.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate potential risks to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Provide consistent, clear, and accurate status reports and progress updates.
- Lead post project reviews to refine processes and communication workflows.
- Support planning for community events and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience using project management tools (Monday.com, Lytho, etc.)
- Available to travel for after-hour community events and initiatives as needed.
