Legal Operations Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (Primary) or Birmingham, AL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite 4 days per week, remote 1 day per week
Reports to: Legal Operations Manager
About the Role
Join our collaborative and innovative legal operations team as a Legal Operations Analyst , where you'll drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in legal spend management across our operating companies.
In this hands-on role, you'll manage critical processes for matter administration, invoice compliance, and financial reporting, directly impacting our organization's operational integrity and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer matter management processes and rigorously review invoices to ensure full compliance with billing guidelines
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor timekeeper rates, maintaining precise and up-to-date records
- Prepare accurate monthly accruals and create insightful reports on legal spend trends and forecasting
- Oversee invoice batch processing and coordinate end-to-end payment workflows in collaboration with Accounts Payable and Oracle AP systems
- Provide backup support for team members and assist as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications We're Looking For
Required:
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with enterprise legal matter management and e-billing systems (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Passport, or similar)
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Knowledge of AP Oracle systems and invoice processing workflows
- Previous experience in corporate legal departments or law firm billing/coordination
